Sorry about the delay in responding.Actually the route up Gondogoro Peak starts from Huisprung ,the camp you finally reach after crossing the pass and you take a different valley to climb it.
I'm heading back again this summer, maybe see you there.

Comment on Walking Offa's Dyke in seven days by Rob Habgood

Hi Chris.

I’m planning to do Offas Dyke at the beginning of May and really liked your post on this. Especially as I want to get it done in 8 days camping.

Can I ask...
1). Which places did you camp?
2) what weight of pack did you carry (mines looking like 12-13 kilos so far and feels heavy). Does it really matter?
3) What footwear would you recommend (I have lightweight walking trainers and heavy leather 3-4 season boots).

Any and all advice really appreciated!!!!

Thanks

Rob

Comment on Peaks, Passes and Glacier Glasses by Charlie

Hi Tom, thanks for the write up. Quick question: from the pictures it seems like that Gondogoro Peak would be a very short easy walk up from the pass. Is that the case in your opinion?
Cheers

Comment on Peaks, Passes and Glacier Glasses by Nic Holden

Nice write up Tom, great to be there and experience it all under your guidance, even if it was in the 'adventurous' rather than the 'touristic' week! The pass looks spectacular though, on the bucket list now, just need a wee bit more snow in the Scottish hills and then get some of those 60 degree slopes under the belt :)
