Men's Approach Shoes

Approach shoes are designed for walking to your climbing destination, for tackling easier climbing routes or just for hiking in general. Men's climbing approach shoes will generally feature an area of sticky rubber over the toe so you can jam your feet into suitable cracks, plus a longer lacing system that allows you to adjust the fit all the way down the foot. Soles will generally be stiffer, to give you better balance when you're rock hopping or standing on slim ledges. Walking approach shoes function as normal hiking shoes, with better cushioning, but may also be just lighter so you can clip them to your harness when your rock boots go on. We've split them up into men's climbing approach shoes and men's walking approach shoes; select the category filter to narrow down your choice.
