Mammut Boot Camp
After the success of the Mammut Boot Camp last autumn, Outside are pleased to welcome back Gary Gibson, this year with Rob Bradshaw-Hilditch, to the Outside Hathersage Boot Room.
In association with Mammut, we are running free one-to-one clinics for biomechanical analysis including a gait assessment, identification of how the foot performs upon ground contact and how any imbalance affects the lower limb and lower spine. Participants will find out if there is a need for support through insoles, exercises and strengthening to improve foot function and reduce lower limb stresses.
The event, which takes place on 21th October, will be hosted by two NHS professionals who have over 45 years of experience in Biomechanics and Rehabilitation between them. Peak District based new routing legend and qualified chiropodist, Gary Gibson, will be joined by Lecturer and Practitioner of Clinical Biomechanics at Staffordshire University, Robert Bradshaw-Hilditch.
Their professional and personal experience make them ideally placed to give an individual analysis and assessment. This will provide information on what exercises and footwear solution would be appropriate for you. Our expert team of Mammut staff and Outside boot fitters will be on hand to use this information to fit you with anything from approach shoes to technical mountaineering boots. Everyone participant will also be given a free Mammut goody bag!
To register for your free 30 minute professional assessment please contact the Hathersage store. There are only 9 places available so you'll have to be quick!
