Here at Outside, we have had over 20 years experience at helping you to achieve the perfect fit from your footwear. Our expert boot-fitters can guide you through every step so that you have the best possible chance of a worry free purchase.

Selection

We have an extensive range of footwear with well over 100 styles in store, ranging from beachwear to high altitude mountaineering boots for the highest of the Himalayas! Our bootfitters are on hand to discuss your requirements to help you select the most appropriate type of footwear for your needs.

Measuring

Every foot is different. Our expertly trained bootfitters can quickly and accurately assess the size and shape of your feet to give you the best possible start to the fitting process.

 

 

Testing

Time taken to try-on boots in store is well invested! We can talk you through the try-on process step-by-step to help you properly assess the fit of footwear in store.

 

 

Final Fitting

Your feet are unique and even with our massive choice of footwear it is often possible to improve the fit with a little customisation and fine tuning. Our bootfitters are trained in all aspects of boot fitting and modification to help to optimise the comfort and performance of your footwear. We can offer everything from advice on correct lacing and sock selection to the preparation of the latest hot vacuum formed footbeds and thermo-moulding techniques.

Expedition Boots
