Ecrin Roc

For a long time the Ecrin Rock was the definitive choice for climbers and mountaineers. Whilst it has now been superseded in terms of weight by many helmets it is still hard to beat in terms of durability and out and out impact strength. The injection moulded polycarbonate shell is very thick and that's what makes the helmet so resilient to impacts and the repeated abuse that a helmet receives in the mountains. It has an extremely good cradle and comes with two types of foam inner to ensure that it is one of the most comfortable helmets out there.

• 7 air vents on either side of the helmet help to prevent overheating, plus 4 head torch clips.
• The cradle is specifically designed to give maximum comfort and to spread the load of any impact.
• The helmet may be adjusted 'on-the-head' by means of a ratcheted wheel (one on either side - just inside the shell) for the perfect fit.
